If she says "my husband thinks it's one of THE books you must read in your life" one more time
Why are we listening to her husbands poxy recommendations anyway, he's not in our feckin bookgroup and his other "must reads" have been shite too.

- When I started this blog in 2007 I was a single parent with 3 children aged 14, 11 and 10. Now in 2016, every one of those children has grown up and left home. I now live with my lovely best friend, my second and last husband and fellow blogger Mr Adventures in Reality and part of the time with the boy wonder, the one he made earlier. We try and outwit the offspring, do the house up and travel as much as we can.

I found your blog in an old issue of Psychologies that I had tucked away and seemingly not read. I am in fact in the same boat as you, after 18 years of marriage, but with one child, not three. I have started at the beginning of your blog and am reading through back to the start(current day!).
My will be ex recommended The Life of Pi to me, saying it was brilliant. I have it in my big pile of to read books, have a feeling it might just to the charity shop instead and cut out the middleman!
It wasn't for me, I'm afraid and she still annoys me
