Welcome to my world

Normal auntiegwen bloggging service has resumed. Can you see what's on my bed? It's my new laptop. I did want a macbook as it'd go better with my bed but I felt the extra £500 it would cost me wasn't quite justifiable even to me, the Queen of waste your money.

So I am back, prone, in my jammies, all is well with the world. If I didn't have to go to work, would I ever leave this room again? I am disproportionately fond of this room and my bed. I read here, write blogs here, watch stuff here, sleep here and so on.

So, tell your auntie, where do you write yours?

I, too, write in my bed, in my jim-jam jammy pyjamas (as we call them,) but... my bedroom is nothing like yours. I have a single saggy bed, one nightstand with a lamp, two chest of drawers, carpet and a laptop, but that is where any similarity abruptly ends... your room is just lovely, mine is rather not.

Hmm... this has made me think that just maybe I should attempt to do something about that. Unlikely a deus ex machina will attempt it on my behalf, so, I'll just have to Attempt It Myself!

But, anyway, since this isn't about me, I love your delicious and soothing environment and nifty new lappy! Well done and you BETTER have installed AVG Free on it! Norton is crap! (Seriously, ask a Geek, they'll tell you)

Warm hugs and quiches from Kitty xo

I love your room....it's always lovely when you have a room that you feel really comfortable in to retreat to.
I mainly blog ion the kitchen...that way I can keep an eye on all that's going on. Sometimes I may take the laptop up to bed to catch up. :0)

Kitty - the first thing I did was install AVG 9 free on it, promise! as for the room , my house was the showhouse for this estate so the decor is most definitely not my choosing but it has stayed as I have a huge can't be arsed gene. But I would like to change it soon, please feel free to ask in 5 years time if I have, the answer will most probably be, not yet but I will soon.

Chic Mama - when mine were smaller I spent most of my time in the kitchen too, back then I was a proper mummy who cooked and baked and not a neglectful mummy who heats up and blogs!

What a beautiful room! No wonder you do your blog from there. Wonderful! And congrats on your new laptop.
My computer is in our office...not so romantic as yours. Just a glass top desk and a regular desktop computer. That is where I am!

Thank you for inviting us all into your lovely bedroom....it may get a little crowded methinks. Am concerned about the mug from the Evil Empire...

My bed was my office most of last year - Mr built me a bed table and I spent most of my life there with my MacBook. Part of me still misses those days in bed!

Love your room - I'd probably never leave it either.

Currently I blog in the dining room - but as the weather warms up I feel sure I will migrate to the back porch.

I write on the couch in front of the tv! I absolutely love your room, I thought it was a magazine picture, so coordinated and soothing. Well done you. I hadn't been right into your blog for a while and see you have been changing things around a bit, it looks good. Enjoy the new laptop.

I write at work.

Then I email it home and touch it up sitting in my dining room.

Which is where I am now.

Thrilling insight, I'm sure you'll agree.

lovely bedroom, looks like it could be in magazine!

I write from the untidy spare bedroom.
hubby's friend has AVG on his computer and just had a major virus , we've got norton, have done for the last 10 years and only 1 virus has nearly got through, so personal preference I suppose...

That's a beautiful room! I blog on the kitchen table with the TV blaring, the kids killing each other, and biscuit crumbs lodging in the keyboard. It's actually up on 'stilts' to avoid the ever present threat of a drink going flying....

Ooo, I think we've got the same laptop! I too spend all my time in my bedroom on the laptop or watching TV. Last night I even did the ironing in here!

slouching over a laptop on a bed?! Noooooo - your poor back! I sit at the office desk all prim and proper (with one hand in a bowl of popcorn - no food allowed upstairs you see!!!!)

I'm not surprised you are fond of it, it looks gorgeous! Congrats on getting the new laptop!

lol...nice to see everything's (almost!) matching in your room! I sleep in green hues, too!

For now, I'm stuck in PrettyBoy's room as it's a full kit and that's where the modem lives! He does have a laptop but, as yet, hasn't moved his erse to buy a router, and I'll be beggared if ahm paying for it for his convenience! Some fibre putty, maybe - but not that!

Can I borrow your house for a while? i have a MacBookPro and it would go nicely there. I write mine everywhere. On my Mac. Which I love.

i thought that room was out of a magazine! what a sanctuary! totally gorgeous. i DO have a mac (sometimes i wish i didn't!) and it's on my 'craft' desk in my craft room, where not much crafting happens because other family members keep using MY mac and leaving themselves logged onto google, so that when i want to a long-winded comment on someone's lovely blog - i get to the bottom and realise one of my SPAWN is logged on and not me!!!

loverly new laptop by the way - excellent product placement...

luvverly bed missis.
We have a study. It is a room of mess and books. I sit in the middle of it, clattering away at the keyboard like a loon. I have a laptop. I never move it. Weird.
