Priorities part deux
Just after I posted the first blog today, I read it back and the date surprised me. On May 19th 1987 I got engaged. Every year we celebrated the date of our engagement. This year even though I wrote the date several times yesterday, it didn't even register with me. How weird is that ? How far have I moved on ?

AuntieGwen, I stumbled upon your blog awhile back and keep returning -- the attraction (aside from the things we have in common such as forties, divorced motherhood, and school) is your way of stringing letters of the alphabet together in an interesting manner and with such a lovely accent. How pathetic is it that I actually spend several consecutive minutes reading the blog of a total stranger from half-way around the world?! Doesn't say much for my life, does it? Anyway, thanks for brightening my day several times. Hope your week is lovely.

My parents still celebrate their first date! (40 years on)
I got engaged on my 21st birthday so no forgetting that one, but I do get my anniversary date mixed up. What's that about?
