- When I started this blog in 2007 I was a single parent with 3 children aged 14, 11 and 10. Now in 2016, every one of those children has grown up and left home. I now live with my lovely best friend, my second and last husband and fellow blogger Mr Adventures in Reality and part of the time with the boy wonder, the one he made earlier. We try and outwit the offspring, do the house up and travel as much as we can.

She doesn't have guards on her shop in T Wells. Bicester must be a dangerous place.
I bet middle age ladies have been putting one floral print item amongst the duck print items just to annoy the staff, but it's been going on for weeks so the shop have finally taken action.
We don't have a Cath Kidston store here (that I know of) - so I Googled it. Of course they need two security guards. That stuff is worth far more than Tiffany's any day!
They weren't actually 'on duty' but rather waiting to carry their Mum's bags when she came out of the shop....at those prices you'd feel mugged! LOL
Well, you just can't get the customers these days.
I've been known to get pretty nasty over the last floral oven mitts....
Shopping in Tiffany... do I need to buy a new hat? x

Gigi - it's very popular here and judging by the amount of Japanese tourists in there yesterday it obviously appeals to middle aged women worldwide !
Taz - I know it's expensive but this is the outlet shop, that's why I was there. Laura 3rd commenter down and I went to the Glasgow shop in the summer, the one in Princes square but we didn't buy anything because it's full price, I'm mean and she's a student. I go to the Bicester one and spend a fortune because it's cheaper, the psychology of my spending!!!
EM - I lower the tone most places I go

Were you arrested shortly after the photo was taken outside Tiffany & Co - that security guard looks mighty bored and it would have given him something to do!
Diney -nope they always let me in even though I did drool quite a lot in the shop!
maybe they knew you were coming AG!!!
They must have gotten burned last year at this time and vowed it wouldn't happen again???
