- When I started this blog in 2007 I was a single parent with 3 children aged 14, 11 and 10. Now in 2016, every one of those children has grown up and left home. I now live with my lovely best friend, my second and last husband and fellow blogger Mr Adventures in Reality and part of the time with the boy wonder, the one he made earlier. We try and outwit the offspring, do the house up and travel as much as we can.

yes, it is definitely funny, my hand hovered and I nearly created one myself, but my 12 year old stopped me just in the nick of time.

I absolutely LOVE Elf Yourself and we did it last year (including the children without their permission, naturally). They were utterly mortified, which made it all worthwhile! You look great!

What everyone doesn't realise is that, that is actually YOU busting those moves and everyone else puts their head on it :D
I just love Elf Yourself but I can never get the heads to fit properly..bit useless at this sort of thing :-(
