Techfeckinology again

My washing machine is dead. It is 16 months old, I am not amused.

My laptop battery is dead. It has to be plugged in to use it, not tremendously helpful. I don't know how to sort this and yes I really wish I was still talking to IT God.

My all singing all dancing 4 month old streemly expensive Sony Erikson mobile phone is dead. I can only use it if it's on speakerphone, there are very few conversations that I would be happy to have that loud. Very few.

I am now using my 2nd to last phone which is a Nokia, I can't remember how it works but I found my old text messages, there were some really poignant ones, some funny ones and IT God's proposal and I cried.

If it helps my daughter's lap top had it's screen smashed, so it is now attached to a monitor! Not so bloody portable now.
Also EU law is on your side. All white goods are by law guaranteed for 2 years. You are by law entitled to a new one or your money back. I read it in the Guardian a few weeks ago. The Guardian never lies. Good luck. Sadly there is no EU law to erase memories of best laid plans, but give them time!

I didn't know he'd proposed. Did you turn him down? Why? Hope the tears have dried. Hugs Hen. X

I feel ya, Hon... The thunderstorm fucked up my dvd player, my tuner, and the Wii... and now my TV is starting to die on me...

Technology is great when it's working... if not, it sucks!

Even when your life sucks, the humor still comes through the anger. How do you do that? You'd make a great spin-master -- you know, spinning stories to make them more palatable. Come to think of it, Obama could sure use you.

technology is no friend of yours. cupcake?

I always said you shouldn't be allowed near technology. So buy a washboard and scrub hard; a windmill for the laptop; a couple of tins and a piece of string. He proposed by text? Bloody hell. I got dumped by text once. Nearly the same

Alison - Thanks for that, i'll go search their site, and try and pursue it.

Mob - It was a joke really I didn't even answer, I'm not upset about it on a daily basis it was just the memory of how good we were that made me sad. Thanks xx

Dutchy - why do they all go at once ????

Shirley - and I could use a job, would I have more luck over the pond ?

Lisa - thanks honey, you could see it coming all those thousands of miles away, an EU man is always an EU man and a disaster to date.

Sue - I would adore one of your cupcakes x

NB - I do wonder why you're single ?

TF - and wasn't the world much simpler ? x

Poor you - it's all happening. Why do those machines wait until they're just over a year old to break down? And Proposal? How did I miss that? (I know because I'm crap at keeping up.)
I still have my old Nokia, which must be 10 years old - in the meantime both Son and Daughter have had hundreds of phones that keep on breaking... M :-)

Buy new stuff, you're loaded, you're a teacher.

M - like I say it wasn't a real proposal, just a little bit of what made us us and that was a bit sad. I think the older phones last much longer, my very first phone was perfect, I only got rid of it because it was the size of a brick !

Soxy - thanks, I'd forgotten my enormous salary, that's cheered me up. It's to make up for the no holidays you see !

Mind you, you're at a secondary school, and therefore earn your money, unlike primary teachers who get paid for playing all day, as far as I can see!

Soxy - you're gonna get lynched by any primary school teachers that read this !!!!! Maybe they're so good at making learning fun and the children learn through play makes it seem easier than it is ?

Ahem....yeah, that'd be it....
