When I grow up I want to be...

Sharleen Spiteri.

She's got the best voice in the world bar none. This song makes me cry, it just touches something deep within me.

She'll take no messin from anyone, I like that.

And she is the sexiest woman alive, OMG, I fancy her myself esp in her Elvis gear. She's been on my CSL for years.

Yep, I want to be Sharleen Spiteri.

Who do you want to be ?

I agree, she's phenominal as a singer and writer. She is of course Scottish like you and me! Naturally we are all amazingly gifted because of our heritage!

I have no clue what a CSL list is but if Sharleen is on it then it must be a good thing.

p.s She's mine!

Mob - parochial, who us ?????

Lolly - Csl is your celebrity shag list, you're allowed 5, and I would actually fight you for her x

Yes, I see what you mean. I hadn't taken much notice of her, up until now!

I'd like to be Katie Melua.

I'm a tad annoyed that my speakers are still not working on the old PC :( But I might just treat myself to one of her CD's this weekend -she better be good! ;-)

I want to have the voice of Sinead O'Connor not to sure about the lack of hair though :) TFx

At the moment I want to be Duffy. Great voice, great songs. I do a good version of 'Mercy' in the kitchen while making the tea!

I want to be David Sedaris, one of my all-time favourite writers. Yup, I want to be a short, high-voiced gay man.

that girl - I love that episode ! and most chic choice my dear

lisa - if I get to be Sharleen, then yes please

MM - Katie ?, fab hair and a very beautiful face too, good call

TF - you have to get those speakers fixed, they weren't working last summer, I agree Sinead's voice is lovely but isn't she a wee bit bonkers ? xx

WM - ah the lovely Duffy, himself is fond of her too, went to see her in concert and was very complimentary about her voice and other assets, fortunately middle aged IT Gods are not on her CSL

Katie - absolutely, and who am I to take that dream away from you ?

Only 5? well in that case you may have Sharleen, cause my list is all ready full lol

I know, I know.....it's on my list

Mad maybe? But maybe just a bit misunderstood ? I saw her live once at a small venue. She sang a traditional Irish song using just her voice - no instruments. Like the 1000+ people in the audience that night the hairs on the back of your neck stood up to give a standing ovation. TFx

here here -she rocks! I interviewed her once and she was one of the nicest singers I've ever met. my dictaphone ran out of batteries and she offered to pop to the shops with me whoilst i got new ones, anddelay her next appointment so I could go over some of my questions that hadn't recorded again. What a doll!
Am not sure who i'd pick to be, but right now, with the freezing temperatures here, as long as i was a celeb who owned a house in a place that was hot, I'd swap!

A CSL eh? New one on me. I'll have to give that one some thought. Flick xx

Lolly - well if you have a crush of the week, you're bound to get through your list quickly

Tf - maybe misunderstood but I agree she has a very spine tingling quality to her voice

Mom/mum - I've never met her but she comes across as very genuine, glad to know she's really like that, and poor you with the weather, it's not that cold here really

Flick - good girl yourself, you're allowed 5 xx
