More FaceBook Fun

This was something The Beautiful Son posted on his wall yesterday

I really can hate my sister sometimes. This parents is why you only have one child.

"Fair play to the boy", you might be saying or "Poor lad, he must have an awful time, living in the house of perpetual pre menstrual tension"

For the readers who don't actually know The Beautiful Children...

My son was the second born child.

I am sooo glad FB didn't exist when I was a teenager.

Compared to most of my teenage thoughts, the TBS' outpourings sound like the musings of Satre.

At least the audience for my rants was restricted to my equally philosophically stunted peers.

Oh, so very very funny! Bless his little white cotton socks!

I used to torment my (younger) sister that she was actually a foundling (à la some Shirley Temple-type movie) and that her REAL parents would one day come back for her.
I was quite awful. But as older sister, it was rather my job. :)

Kitty - I think some of my kids hope they are adopted!!!

That is funny - I showed Attila who has tendencies that way herself and it made her laugh too. But she usually goes for a variation - why didn't you have me first?!!

Oh the angst of it all!!!! I thought I was adopted, cos 'I couldn't be treated this way if I was really the biological child' that was me as a youngster.

My oldest has often asked of his younger brother - are you sure they didn't give you the wrong baby!

auntiegwen said...

Gigi - would you like him? free to a good home...

Sandi - I yearned to go to boarding school when I was a child to get away from my family. Think it was all the novels about boarding school I read.

Betty - it's only because I gave birth to them I know they're mine!

My son & daughter go through similar love hate phases. She currently hates him. He is oblivious. She is friends with me on FB. He is not and never ever will be. I think I'm glad about that as I really don't want to know what he is up to, although sometimes I have a sneaky peek if he forgets to log out.

Priceless.

My three lads 'tolerate' each other and only seem to get together when there's a computer game that they can link their computers to and play against each other. :(
